No I'm not changing the name of my comic series (see title of blog). However, I am too lazy to look up what 'week' of Go Catering I'm supposed to be on. So there you have it. Also I got these up a day early! :D Pat on the back for me! Enjoy the cartoons~!

Me and Michael! So this is what Michael told us the first day that Audrey and I started working at Del Sol and I, of course, couldn't help making fun of it. Catering will follow you everywhere my dear readers. EVERYWHERE.
Me! If you don't believe me or understand the joke, educate yourself.
Me! Blacklights (those lights that make your white shirts glow) attract bugs like NO OTHER. We had to resort to measures to take care of the problem having 6 of them at our store. Sorry if my writing is hard to read...
Michael, Anne, and me! Michael and Anne are the best Managers EVER. No debating.
I just think our desk area is a little ridiculous sometimes...but that's what gives it character. I mostly drew this for my sake so that I can remember it. Nostalgic huh?
Doctor, chubby tourist, and Me! You get a lot of customers in a store and, as such, get a lot of repeated questions. One of them is "Hey, will you get cancer if you work in this store with these UV lights for too long!?!?!" and I just want to let you know, I have no idea. But it will certainly explain my cancer in my fingernails later in life...if that happens?
Audrey, Me, and pretty ladies! We work next door to the Alamo and Guinness Book World Records. The Guiness guys stand outside the door just as much as we do and shout at people about deals and such, same as us. But we're cooler!
Audrey, Meagan, and Me! So this is a running gag in my comics of making little s cry. However, this time I have no one to blame but myself. I felt so bad! So of course I had to self-deprecate myself a little.

So I hope you all enjoyed the Del Sol aside as much as I did. Maybe I'll go about putting random hints about it in my future comics that no one will get but me :)

So here are some comics I did over the break! I busted out a calligraphy pen (oh so sweet) and realized that a lot of artists that I admire must use these kinds of pens because I recognize the flow of the ink from many drawings that I admire. Anyways, here are some comics, and enjoy~!

Laura and Me! I had the opportunity to serve my Econ professors and they were coming down the buffet line and I just didn't know what to say! Especially since I had just presented a paper to one of them. So I said hi and then pretended to be busy for the rest of the banquet. :P
Me, Brooke, and Kirk! A new trainer position had opened up at catering when I drew this and I thought it was an ever so clever play on words...or ideas. Whatever. Anyways, congrats to the new trainers! You know who you are...
Marie and Me! So every so often I like to be ridiculous. Having a bigger rack-up doesn't actually mean anything other than the fact that I take too much stuff out on banquets. Nonetheless, mine is bigger :P

Hey guys! Look! Only 15 weeks away from my 100th week! So cool! Anyways, enjoy the comics as always~!

This is Jeff the Caterin' Penguin. I drew him. He exists. And he's adorable!!! So I thought I'd share him.
Charly as Hermione, Harry Potter, Stellar Hoffman as Ron, Joe as Joe, Draco, and Ryan as Goyle! So I've always wanted to apply Harry Potter to catering. I also noticed that I feel like I have to fight for my trucks a lot more this year, but that's because I'm the opener and everyone wants to steal them from me before I'm done with them.
Kirsten and Me! So we got a butt-load of xs women's vests and I've had this comment made to me many a times that it just had to made into a comic. I mentioned this to Kirk, and he says he's getting a more rational amount of other sizes of vests in the future, so no worries there. Remember, anorexia is not the answer and you are beautiful the way you are. :)

Me! So a ridiculous amount of signs have shown up in the third floor kitchen and it's various appendages, I HAD to make fun of it. Mind you I have only contributed one!

In good old Provo fashion, I thought I'd celebrate Halloween on the wrong day! Yeah. I read the daily universe today and 4 of the 5 events mentioned were happening today. Ridiculous! None-the-less, I wish to unleash my Halloween comic for this year. I hope you enjoy it~! And Halloween (tomorrow preferably).

Mariah as Beetlejuice, Marie as Harley Quinn, Me as a 'goth', and Nancy as an Ewok! So the CougarEat gets to wear their costumes to work and I'm tired of it! Just once I'd like to serve Cecil as a Jedi. I think he'd appreciate it. Maybe we could get away with it if we all dressed up as Cosmo and did flips...
Laura as the Ugly One, Mariah as So-and-so, Me as What's Her Face, and BL as Cheerleader! So in the Second Floor Loge it just so happens that we have a crew of all girls (yay feminism!). Therefore I wanted to nickname our venue the nunnery. My crew did not appreciate my humor. So we instead concluded that we are the teen girl squad. Yes, there are 12 other people in the loge besides us four, so I apologize that I did not feature you here. But I thought it'd be a better tribute if I kept it to four.

Well, to answer your question, yes. I've decided to stop being a ninny and get back to drawing me (and you) some comics. I can't vouch for their relevant-ness though because I only do about one banquet a week. But I'm sure I can manage.

2 random angels and Me! So, at football one game day past, I didn't have enough strawberry topping. It was a very arduous process to get it too. I was frantic, on edge, and punching the air profusely. One of my wait staff suggested that I keep the eternal perspective in mind. It's ONLY strawberry topping. To any and all wait staff...know that if you say that to me then I will probably just say to myself "waitstaff" and keep freaking out. But this time I decided to listen. Hence the comic. :D
Me! So this is something I've observed as an opener; it's gotten colder. As such, it's rather hard to wash the trucks in the morning. So if the trucks are dirty, I apologize. It's because I'm frozen in the parking lot unable to reach the windows.
Uncle Sam-area! I saw an uncle sam poster abused by BYUSA the other day and decided that it was my turn to do so. Know that you are appreciated!
#8, Scott, Joe, Me (#6 :D), guy-too-cool-for-anything, and #1! So this is the first of 9 requests that I've had in the past month since I've stopped drawing comics. The other 8 will come shortly as soon as I remember what they are...yes...this one isn't even catering related...but I had the glorious privilege of standing outside to wait in line for the next Robert Jordan book by Brandon Sanderson. There were some characters there, and I like to think that I drew the most memorable of them.

Hey lookie here! I didn't think I would get these done so quickly, but once I started I just had to finish it would seem! Enjoy~!
Scottie! I drew him a few times when he was a wait staff, but nothing recently. I believe he only does trucks for football now. He's just that cool.

Ryan! He is so tall! And cool! I'll have to draw him in some comics when I get around to them.
Meagan! I don't know if I've ever drawn Meagan before...I think I have when I needed someone to look incredulously at me in my comic. She's very good at it. And it's never a misplaced look!
Mark! He's a newer captain and I haven't gotten around to drawing him much either. We never really work together, so I never really have any solid catering cartoon ideas from him...eh.
Jessie! She's a closer! And hilarious! And very hard for me to draw...this took me 3-6 times to do! And it's quite smashing if I do say so myself. It involved looking up pictures on facebook. :)
Craig~!!! Craig is amazing! And he's the only other caterer at University Conference to do shout outs for Pita's with me. Therefore he gets brownie points.
Cortney! The last and final closer! I haven't used her much in comics either...but she would be dancing in them if she did make an appearance; like Ashley Kay of old.
Chris! He gave me a good comic idea the other day...he he he.
Bonnie! I've drawn Bonnie many times I believe. In some of my favorites to. That's right folks, she made it onto the board that I have at home where I keep all of my favorite comics!
Aaron! I always see Aaron sitting down.
Amy! Amazing captain! I've drawn her lots of times too. Yeah!

Oh! And RT is a captain too, but I drew him last time. He's on the board. I love to draw him too! The comics he appears in are always a good one!

Hey guys! So I haven't drawn any comics in awhile...and I still haven't...But! I have drawn half of the captains for the captain board in the third floor kitchen! Oh...and I made them wear their actual uniforms unlike in all of my other comics because I thought it would confuse people...but I won't be changing my comics still. Probably. I haven't drawn in awhile...Anyways, enjoy~!

Staci! I draw her in the comics that I need a more stern captain, someone to dress up as Bert or the Wicked Witch of the West, or someone shouting back at me. It makes for good comics.
Saundra! I actually haven't drawn Saundra before today! Sad, because I LOVE her hair! Or at least to draw it...I used to be able to draw Ruth's hair...but I usually don't draw people any more who have left catering in my catering comics. Yay Saundra!
Rachel! Closer extraordinaire! I don't draw her that often either...
Marie! I draw her whenever I need a sidekick! That or a fiery red head. One of the two.
Mariah! I have labeled Mariah my little zealot. She's the best captain trainee! And the Second Floor Loge is the best!
Kellyn! I actually don't draw Kellyn very much...I had to update her on the board cause the last time I drew her it looked even less like her than this one does. But I think I'm getting better at it!
Joe! Man! I LOVE drawing Joe as a Dinosaur. It provides for many comics that actually tend to be among my better ones. Plus I know he doesn't mind so I don't feel bad drawing him as one. Yay Dinosaur Joe!
Joan! This captain has an identity crisis I've decided. But she's the most amazing opener ever! :D She's also the main character in all of my Go Catering comics.
Cliff! He is also an opener! Openers are the best! Period. I haven't drawn Cliff before now either...he asked me last winter to draw him for the board and I finally got around to it! Whoot!
Chelsea! You know, Chelsea has the best name ever. I also haven't used her in any of my comics yet...but she would probably be a voice of reason if she were to be in one.
Charly! She gets a BYU Polo because she works in the Cougar Room. And she's great. And has cool hair too.
Carsten! You know, I don't think I could ever capture Carsten's genuine smile. But that doesn't mean I won't try!

So...I'm sorry if you are sad that you didn't make the first cut...I drew in the following order-ish: openers, 2FL, Cougar Room, Veteran's (kinda), Closers, and Captain Trainees. But no worries...they'll be coming forthwidth!

Hillary and Me! So this is from last month's captain meeting. Kirk informed us that we should try to 'sleep' on our rack-ups, meaning mull it over the day before the banquet, etc. I of course wanted to find a way to turn it the best I can and I came up with this comic. :D
Chris, me, and Staci! Come on, you know you've thought of it.
Me! This is, of course, a tribute to lefthandedtoons.com! I love them! And I thought that this would be in line with some of their humor. Yay tributes!

Little Crying girl, Me, and Joe! So, in case you don't get the reference, then read this comic below:It's been a year since the last University Conference and I figured that it would be fun to revisit the gag of last year. I don't remember what post it's in...but I it's somewhere on this blog.
Me and RT! So sometimes, people just need to take a nap. This didn't actually happen, but last week I heard of people taking naps a lot and thought it would be fun to portray it this way. Plus, who can go back to sleep with someone else in the room? No one.
Lactose the Intolerant, Soy Boy, Lauren N. , and me! So I have this other comic series that I do that's a sort-of western but not really, and my main characters from said western made a guest appearance in this comic! I can't believe I didn't think to do this before what with all the special meals we have! Alas, I hope you enjoy it none-the-less.

Week 80~!

Hey guys! So I've got a couple of comics for you today. One of them from a captain's meeting and one a tribute to some other comics that I've been reading. I WOULD have had them up yesterday but then I decided today would be a better day to put it up. Enjoy~!

EFY kid! So in our meeting, we were discussing treating all of our customers as equals. Specifically the EFY kiddies. They don't just go through the line, get their apple, brownie, and lunch and are automatically happy from the various increments of food. They are PEOPLE! And all I got out of this lecture is this comic. That EFY kids have a happiness bar and it is slowly filled by food items. :D on the last phase with the brownie, you should probably imagine this in the background.

Brooke and Me! There is a great website called Left-Handed Toons(by right-handed people) and I love them! I just hope I'm not infringing on any rights by doing this tribute comic...but I've been wanting to do this pun for a LONG time and couldn't think of an excuse to do so because it was so horrible. But I felt what I came up with is in tune with the websites humor...though not nearly as good I would imagine. Basically I drew this whole comic (writing and all) with my left-hand. Cool huh?

Also, good news! It has been one year since I started this blog! :D But not one year since I started comics...but yay anyways!

Week 78 and 79!

Forward: These are comics I did on vacation but never got around to putting up until I got back from...vacation. The first three (week 78) were done because my sister wanted to be in my comics. As is tradition, I usually make fun of people who make requests, so these are some things that I've been teasing my sister about. I suppose this system is detrimental to me being given ideas...but it amuses me and therefore I mean no offense, just amusement...if that makes sense? Anyways, Enjoy~!
Sierra and Me! So my sister went to a Spanish speaking mission and also just got back from it. So, instead of writing 'hahaha' she writes 'jajaja' in our little facebook chat and I often smirk whenever she does because it's just weird to me to laugh with a j that's pronounced as an h. Also she has already got into the swing of technology despite her short escape from it and I just threw that in there too.
Sierra and Me! So my room back home is basically a storage space now. Despite that fact, I left it in a rather horribly messy state, so when I came home to visit, my sister kindly reminded me of this fact. The comic above is also something she said when I got back and when she said it, she had the most serious face on that I almost thought she meant it. I know she WISHES it, hehe, but if I were to teach my bird anything it would be this.
Trio, Trio, Trio! So I'm 100% positive that this habit of mine is completely immature and unnecessairy, but when I am reunited with both my brother and sister, I ALWAYS check to see if I'm still second tallest. I never want to be the tallest because then I'd have to be at least 6 ft 6 inches and I'll just leave that to my cousin.
Dakota and Me! This is how I think I got the swine flu. I'm not even sure it WAS the swine flu, but I did get sick from my brother whilst at home and when you read the description of a disease whilst sick you start to fit facts to a theory instead of a theory to fit the facts.

Me and the EFY kiddies! So I swear we go through so many paper sacks at EFY and I can't figure out how! This cartoon, however, is my best guess at what does happen.

Hey guys! So I have been gone for a bit, which is hardly a plus for my 'consistency record'. But I am glad to report that I've got some comics for you today with more on the way! :D Enjoy~!

Dean and Me! So I had told my family about the trucks I drive at catering and one day I was driving my dad's truck with my little bro when he said the smashing phrase portrayed in this comic and I really just had to apply it to a comic.

Sierra and Me! My sister loves the dolphins at Sea World and everytime I see the picture of the dolphin in the shirt room that tells me to smile, I think of my sister...and that the dolphin just looks plain silly with name tags in it's mouth as if it were to eat them. I won't name any names... but you know who you are.
Me and Mele! So we as Captain's (well, at least I know I do) always joke about this policy; not because we don't enforce it, but because it uses the word termination. hehe.

Joe S., Me, and Malik! So this comic was suggested/requested of me when it was witnessed (not by me) first hand. Isn't that amazing? If my drawings are accurate, as they always are, he got about ten feet! Okay, so the person said it was more like a foot, but you can't spell farce without...car?

Me and Amanda! Check your staffmates! Know your captains! And for goodness sakes don't smudge the notes to yourself on your arms.

Cliff and Me! We got a new van! :D The brakes don't suck like the ones on the old van! Isn't that great! Yes, yes it is.

Tammy B. and me! Sometimes captains don't know where something is! P.S. if YOU find the 5th floor cooler, you let me know okay?

Me and a new wait staff! So it's been rumored that I'm a scary captain. I personally don't believe so. You know what is scary? Being told to go somewhere and you don't know where that something is. ~5th Floor Proproom~ Sounds pretty scary huh?

Me and my brother! So everytime I go on vacation I do a comic about how I'm always reminded of Catering whilst I am away. This time it came in the form of our blue cards that gives us half off at all the food places on BYU campus. Yay! I'll actually probably be doing more of these, because my brother is just so funny! :D

Two Women's Conference Ladies and Me! This was my favorite quote from Women's Conference. It just fills me with such joy and completeness. Why you might ask? Because it is SO TRUE! I can relate. I didn't like Brownies all that much before I had BYU Brownies.

Miss Piggy, WC Lady, and Me! This happened, oh I don't know, about every time someone ordered a Pork Pita with Jerk Sauce for Women's Conference (WC)...oh, and if you were wondering...

The Catering Pita's

Miss Piggy= Pork + Jerk Sauce (because she's one saucy pig!)
Kermit the Frog= Chicken + Jerk Sauce (because Miss Piggy and Kermit always go together! My other reason that no one accepted was that frog tasted like chicken...)
Colonel Sanders= Chicken + Sweet and Sour Sauce (Cause he sells chicken and he's sweet)
Pirate= Pork + Sweet and Sour Sauce (Cause Pirates are sweet and sour! Like POTC!)
Samurai= Pork + Teriyaki Sauce (I imagine you can see why...)
Ninja= Chicken + Teriyaki Sauce (Once again...but Samurai's are cooler so they are the stronger sounding meat! Right?!)
Cowboy= Pork + BBQ Sauce (Cause Cowboys use BBQ...and chicken was taken...)
Big Bird= Chicken + BBQ (Cause BB stands for Big Bird! Plus, BBQ sauce is basically sugar...)

Me, James T. Kirk, Spock, and the Doctor guy! Come on, every one of us has thought of a famous Captain from a movie or book and wished that someone WITH that name would work for catering and become a captain!!! :DCaptain Moroni and Me! I figured whilst I was at it with the previous comic... Basically I had Capt Kirk and Moroni's facial expressions embody what I thought someone's face would look like if I told them this connection with Captains at catering and other, more famous, captains irl...

Week 72~!

I'm just so excited that I got these done on time that I decided to post this today! :D Enjoy~!

Me, Mitch, and Hillary C.! So I got a promotion at work. I am the opener! I personally think it sounds a lot cooler than the closer...but the closer has a tv show so I don't know how useful my opinion is there. Anyways, so when I'm tired I tend to ramble about even odder things than usual. Since I am the opener, you probably will be seeing a few more of these comics where I picture myself as tiredly saying silly things.

Me as a Detective, Jesika W. as Colonel Mustard (who said a colonel had to be a guy eh?), Chelsea M. as Miss Scarlet, and Callie S. as Miss Peacock! I was setting up for a banquet and I literally said "Ok, it's in the WILK with the Honors Program and blue table cloths." and of course I connected Catering with the board game Clue. Now none of those three other girls work for catering...they're my friends and they wanted to make a guest appearance and I thought they aught to! :D Of course I couldn't remeber if there was a Miss White in the game or if it was Mr. White...so I just made Jesika a Colonel! :D

Ha, ha, haaaa! That's right, totally got these up! Way to go me! Well, all the same I have an announcement. I am going to end 'Volume 2: The Characters' today and start Volume 3 next week of my 'Go Catering' comic series. Once again, I don't name the volume until I finish it so...yay for volume 3...next week!

Sara H., Melissa, and Me! So we got a new scheduler here at catering these past couple of weeks and this is my sort-of welcoming her to the job I suppose! I actually mentioned to Melissa that I had recently been scheduled on a lot of banquets that were easy where you didn't have to do much and she jokingly said "Maybe they're trying to tell you something...". That didn't go too well with me and my imagination, and as such this comic was born. But I decided that for this comic, instead of having my suspicions be true, that they'd be oh so wrong...as they most likely are! :D
Melissa W., Me, and Richard B.! This is another installment of the 'catering mafia' gag I started awhile back...So we had a capt's meeting where it was mentioned that the lunch captains hadn't been cleaning up after themselves. I would know, because I sometimes have to clean up said mess. So, as a warning, catering has a mafia and you WILL be interrupted during your CougarEat meal to pick up your stuff! Muahah!
Wait staff whose names escape me...and Me! Ah...oh so many times RM's will start speaking to each other in another language at catering. It's to be expected. But the next time it happens I am going to speak in French the whole banquet! ahha! So there!
Me and a Provo Cop! All I have to say is that I've yet to be pulled over by a cop, so NO this didn't actually happen.

Just a forward about these two comics. As an avid reader of my comics would know, I have a few characteristic characters that I like to draw; myself, Chris, Tammy, David, Joe, etc. That's why Volume 2 is called 'the characters'! I really started to develop them more! Since I also recently drew real people for the Feed the Fork newsletter, I decided I'd draw these characters as...more of their real selves than usual. :D So enjoy~!

Joe S. and Me! Everyone has a little dinosaur in them. Mine was at a captain's meeting when I started to get a little to over exaggerated about something that annoyed me. I claimed that I was collect...but my fervor would suggest otherwise hehe...

You know...we all have sad tales to tell and reasons why we are a week behind in blogging. But I'm going to look past that today and just relish in the joy that is comics, for I have some for you now! Enjoy~!
Tammy and me! So I really wanted to go home early one day this past week and this is what I imagined I could do to make it 'come to pass' so to speak. I am quite lucky when it comes to spinning wheels. Especially rigged ones.
Ruth, me, and a random customer! So I love to draw Ruth's hair. Just like I like to draw my swirly eyes, it gives me great pleasure to be able to incorporate these things into my comics. This one did actually happen. I was quoting Tool Time when a customer came up to this scene of Ruth and I messing around. Needless to say it wasn't very professional, and we refrained from goofing off again until the customer was WELL out of hearing range...and sight... :D

So yes again...I didn't do comics this week. But I had a minute to doodle something that happened at the Hinckley Center yesterday and I hope you enjoy~!

So everyone that has been to the Hinckley center knows the elevators there. They are annoying. If I am ever asked for an example of an annoying voice, I will tell them to go listen to the Hinckley Center elevator voice and they will understand what I mean. I was also in a sour mood yesterday and, wanting to pick a fight, said this to the elevator. One day the voice box will start talking back to me...and that will be the day it's no longer annoying but horribly terrifying!

One Minute Wonder One

So I have a big midterm this week and find that I won't be able to draw comics like I had planned. So I decided to try something new. There's a website that I participate in that they give you a word and then you write on it for 1 minute. Well that's what I'm going to do here i.e. I'm going to make a comic in under a minute. They won't be anything fancy and I'll probably save the jokes I like the most for well drawn comics...but yeah. Enjoy all the same~!

Me and a random wait staff! So this past week the dishroom changed it's cleaning supply. To us, it just means that it's a different color. I know Hazcom man would have a fit that I don't yet know it's name, but I've never known pinks name either sadly (DPF 72 or something like that) ...That being sad, the old sanitizer was pink and the new one is yellow...but telling someone to yellow and blue doesn't have the same ring as telling them to pink and blue. As far as I'm concerned, it's still pink and I'm not color blind.

Richard, Jason, and Me! So I saw another catering company on campus the other day and decided that we needed a catering mafia. Of course...it would just have to be an enigmatic being in catering that slowly took out other caterers and the members thereof were unbeknownst to everyone else...haha...I had to look up the uniform for Jason's Deli and it was actually online!!! HA~! But what would be the worst that BYU students would do? Make the other caterers feel guilty?

President Obama, Me, President Eyring, and President Monson! Wow...I didn't think I'd ever be in the same sentence as those people...I should write sentences with my name and famous people more often...anyways, so I doubt this comic would ever be true. I would be very excited to serve the President of the United States of America and quite star struck when giving President Obama his dessert. Just not as excited as I would be to serve someone I revere as much as President Monson.
Me and Mariah! Mariah actually came up with this idea...because she was the one that actually looked it up. I looked it up...but I didn't want to make a comic about my definition. I've met many a wait staff who have to have me repeat and explain what I'm asking for when I request chaffers. So no worries guys, just don't bring me any bugs please. I have no sympathy for them. Plus I'd just let chaffer's go, and that would be bad for the Provo ecosystem!

So though it would have been cool to do something about it being the 66th 'week' of my Go catering comics...I fell ill this week and opted for sleep instead of drawing with my free time (though I had ideas this week, what a paradox). But I did manage to eek out a comic. Enjoy~!
Meme, Meagan B., Richard B., and Tammy B.! Yay for another installment of the Captain's card game! At work I'll occasionally come upon someone looking for something in vain (like bev naps or something). I'll ask them what it is and it'll take me a few seconds to find it. While I still can't find some things (like the currently oh so elusive plastic tablecloths...they're not where they're supposed to be!), I find this ability that most captains have to be quite taken for granted. My favorite was after I'd done this for someone they exclaimed "I swear! Captain's have this summoning ability" and it made me giggle. :D

Yay comics! :D So I was going to do a comic for President's day, but I didn't get to it yet. So know that in about a week, if you really want to, you can read a comic about president's day, a holiday you probably didn't even celebrate anyways. Enjoy~!
Meme and Richard! So I just have to say that Richard is an unending source of good comics. Thank you Richard. This comic is inspired by how sometimes captains' don't always realize how long it takes to do a certain task (and also to those who choose to take their sweet time doing a task that can cause complications). I must admit that I don't always work as fast as I could, but I hope I never sink so low as to take 45 min to do a 2 min task. Michael J. and his roommate! So...I've been voted catering's 'most likely to drop a dish' in our little catering awards this past fall catering party. An honor to be sure. As such I know what it's like to have a haunting conscious about how many glasses I manage to break. Ok...so maybe it's just me. In the great words of Doug-who-knows-everything "It's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last."
Jonathan and Meme! So every once in awhile, we change the codes for the doors at catering! What with the new age of texting (if this hasn't occured to you yet) you can make little acronyms and such to help you remember said codes. I personally thought it would be funny if this was actually true...an override code for when you mess up too many times that spells out 'idiot'...ah...so amusing. By the way, you can mess up three times before it locks you out...yes...

Week 64

So I lied. If you haven't noticed, I haven't posted for awhile and I actually don't intend to post the comic that I originally promised (though it is coming) (see last post). I've had a sort of drawing block that usually comes along with writers block; drawing comics became more of a chore than a hobby for awhile there. So I must apologize for my lack of vigor in drawing you guys comics. I think it's coming back to me though so no worries!

I do have a few comics for you this week, so I hope it compensates a little for the past 3 weeks! Enjoy~!

Muffins! Ok, so ever since I was introduced to muffinfilms.com I've ALWAYS wanted to do a comic about muffins, but I never really found something good enough. Well, I quite adore what I came up with here and I hope you do too! Explanation-wise I was going through the muffins on my banquet and there was a really ugly one that I set aside from the other muffins in a section on the tray that I deemed "the unservables" in my mind (you've all done it I'm sure). Since I like to give inanimate objects character, this comic was born. One might also say "You jerk! How dare you ruin that muffins self esteem!?". Well, all I have to say to you is muffins don't have feelings. What were you thinking? ;)
Richard! Ok, imagine yourself going off of 4 hours of sleep, going into work, and then getting the urge to draw comics with no material whatsoever. It makes this comic 10x's more funny I think. This is kinda what I mean by my 'writer's block'. Maybe I'll just start drawing random scenery at catering...but that's harder than people...anyways.

See, I started drawing my comics in a format in an attempt to do a one panel jokes and such, but when I first started drawing comics in a one page multi-panel format. Joe S. and Meme! So I've always wanted to hold a sign up and dance at a street corner but usually my rationality gets in the way so I never do (I hear they pay well...). So I wondered to myself "Would I wear a sign if catering made me?" The answer is probably yes...but I wouldn't dance, so there.

Meme and one of the guys that took one too many candies at the catering booth! Oh I wish , I wish this was true. Well, not really, I don't want to be sued...but it's an amusing thought. Of course when you're giving out free candy and fliers, which one would YOU pick?

Ok, so this comic is from my 'volume 1' of catering comics and is the precursor to next weeks comic. :) Just try and guess hehe.Meme, Tammy, Sara, Lazel, James, Brian, Tommy, random guests, Michael J., and lots of squished wait staff! Ah, the fish head. I've never served a salmon like that personally, but I've seen the aftermath and it's not pretty. But with this comic; I had a lot of ideas that week and I wanted to incorporate them all in a creative way. I also didn't sketch it first in pencil, so for me there are lots of mistakes, but no one else knows what they are so just ignore my random last panel...I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorites, if I'm allowed to have any haha.

Staci, meme, and Amy! Yes, all three of us were on the passover banquets last year. Stock full of memories, we look forward to see who gets to do those wonderful banquets. I find that it won't be the same without Doug "who-knows-everything" because he used to make the horseradish that was such a main part to the whole sedar service. But since passover is about remembering anyways I'm sure it'll be wrong to forget the rest of what makes those banquets oh so interesting!
Meme, Richard B., and B2! So this comic doesn't portray accurately my own opinion concerning facial hair; it was worth mentioning the pride of the guys at our college when they get to grow out their facial hair over the break. It's quite the unique attitude, no where else is facial hair so risk-ay.
Marie B. and Meme! So with the taking down of the walnut centerpieces there came a lot of free walnuts for the catering staff before break. I really wanted to know what it would be like to eat them when they WERE centerpieces (like oh so many of our customers oddly enough)...but eating a lot of walnuts and such just isn't the same without a nut cracker of some sort, especially the particularly funny looking ones!

Meme and Uncle James! So I was cleaning out a house with my Uncle when we came across a very nice set of champagne glasses and I had a hard time throwing them away. I thought to myself that it ought to be easier because I break glasses all the time at work, but it was not so. Of course irl my Uncle was nicer to his volunteer helper, but I thought it added to the comic.
Scott, random wait staff, random BYU student and old man, and Meme! Over the break I got my wisdom teeth out and it was quite the challenge to eat solids...let alone quickly. I made this connection with catering where there are some tables that we serve that tend to take awhile to eat, and you just want them to EAT FASTER. But they don't, and you learn patience real quick (or learn to hover obstinately hehe).
Meme! As we know there are a lot of centerpieces to choose from to use on our banquets. I was originally going to have the centerpieces insulting me like the flowers do to Alice in 'Alice in Wonderland'...but then I thought this was more amusing that they were vying to be used on my banquet.

Well folks it's been a long break but I've got copious comics for you now. Mind you they are all jumbled into different groups...like some are from week 60 but one of them is from another week...and I don't have all of them with me to scan...and...ok...so it doesn't really matter. :D So just enjoy~!

Random Wait Staff, Meme, and a random adult! So I was serving a banquet when I heard someone ringing the goblets. Ever since I worked EFY I've started to associate ringing goblets with said event so it's sort of taken on a childish air to it (even though if I did it personally it wouldn't). It's so much harder to tell a grown man/woman to stop doing that...my reasons seem less...real...know what I mean? Yes...
Meme, Melissa, and Tammy! Even though I don't like to shatter glass in particular, I wanted to break those Christmas centerpieces all season just to see if Mckel and Brooke WOULD kill me like they would insinuate to me oh so many times when I got that glint in my eye. Imagine if you went to heaven and explained how you died. "I broke my boss's centerpiece...yeah" :D

Meme and a random waitstaff! So, there a lot of new people to catering and sometimes our lingo needs explaining. I'm not saying that most people don't know what it is to fan napkins, I'm just saying that I wish this would happen because of how ridiculous it would be to come upon someone...fanning napkins... XD

Anastacia and Meme! So I was on a banquet when I noticed that there were sacrament trays in the prep room. I made sure that they didn't come back with us in my little "look around to see if we got everything" phase of clearing out of the building banquets.

Brian G., Meme, Karen, and Barbara! So this is the closest I got to referring to Thanksgiving adventures. I saw Madagascar II and I just thought the scene with the penguins applied to catering quite nicely!

Jonathan and Meme! Ok. Sometimes as captains we are required to correct the grooming standards of our wait staff. For me personally this comes in random spurts where I just criticize everyone in my range. But this was completely rational! As soon as he walked into the room I noticed the white belt! Then he 'showed me' by wearing a reversible one...X( man...I feel like one of those people who size up a person by first looking at their shoes or something like that...except horrible construed by catering...
Robby, Joe, Meme, and Melissa! I've always wanted to share my weird hobby of making connections to things that no one else does...it just seems like a lost art though. Anyways, if you are akin to my comic Melissa and don't get my reference with the other hot keepers...nah...you can get it XD
Mike, CougarEat student manager, Meme! So catering and the cougareat are in a constant battle over the hallway in the dishroom. Having been chastised about this in the captain's meeting, I set out to better compromise with them in the future. When we came across the problem again (that very day after the meeting in fact) this is how it went down.
CESM:"Hey, if you don't mind I'm going to move you're catering stuff into the hallway by the ballroom"
Me:"Well the thing is that 801 doesn't want us putting it there so I don't thing you should"
CESM:"Are you sure?"
Me: "Um...yes. You can ask you're supervisor Mike if you'd like"
CESM: "Yeah I think I'll do that."
Then I keep doing the dishes for a bit when I realize some potential mischievousness. I crammed all of the carts into the small opening behind the loading part of the dishwasher and made it so you couldn't even see our carts from the other end of the hallway. Yes I did get a greeaaat amount of self-satisfaction when Mike came and saw nothing and went away with a bemused CESM. muahaha...
Jeff, Ruth, and Meme! There are just some banquets that go wrong (like at the Clyde building where there are NO rooms built with catering in mind) and as a captain you simply do your best and wing it. :D Fun times!

Week 56! The last football game :)

Yay! So I was falling a daze in my classes today and to stay awake I started doodling the rest of the comics! Yay! These 5 in particular are dedicated to the wonderful events known as football games. May they always be stressful fun! Enjoy~!
Tamsin, Meme, EFY kid, Mattress man, and Brittany! The 2nd floor loge has an amazing view of the...parking lots...for football. Anyways, there's a LOT of amusing things to see in the parking lot right next to the stadium including the BYU band before kickoff, a smart car :D, a man dressed up as the Carl's Jr. Star logo, and this one time (as portrayed in the comic) there was a man dressed up as a mattress! :) It was very amusing.
The Under checker cop, Copilot..., Meme, and Joe S.! So we were waiting to get into the stadium and I've seen this man check every truck I've ever been on at every game for secret smugglers under the truck trying to get into the stadium. Yet they ignore the fact that there is a huge truck bed of mysterious catering things that they never check. Now I don't want catering to have to take more time getting into the stadium by this comic, I just want to make a joke! Besides...that man that checks the trucks is such a character...I HAD to draw him.
Kirk, (front row, left-right) Casey, Meme, David L., Aaron, Scott, (back row, right-left) Bonnie, Two Blue zone wait staff, Tamsin, Amanda, Jonathan, and 3 more random wait staff! I heard strange rumors about DS 72 having been pushed back to the WILK by Kirk because it died, so I drew it next to another very strange rumor of fitting 15 people in a truck. Football=fun times!
Mariah, Tamsin, Meme, and Tammy! So we were doing an odd job at the Legacy Tent before the last football game and we couldn't find the light switch for the Tent. We were using our cell phones to look for it when Mariah, who was still in the truck, asks Tamsin if all Captains carried flashlights with us. Well the answer is yes Mariah, yes we do.

Anastacia, Richard B., and Meme! Next year for football, or on a very busy night, get yourself down to the dishroom for some of the best fun and inside jokes catering can afford to give you.

Elizabeth (WS) and Meme! Come on, you guys know that when you end up serving a friend, a teacher, or (in this case) a TA you act more particular than usual. Well...I do. Anyways when I did serve my TA is was funny because I tried not to treat him differently from the other people at the table, but he sat where I kept on serving him last at the table X( But he hasn't said anything about it in class and I don't think he will. :D
B2, Chris O., and Meme! So I had this problem the other day with my rack-up and it just reminded me of a time in Sacrament meeting where the speaker said, 'It would be a sad existence if you couldn't walk' and that's when I thought that a handicapped person might get offended...therefore inanimate objects MUST feel the same :D Careful what you say my friends...very careful XD.
Random Guy, Riley, Meme, and a random waitstaff! I was told one day by Allan that I couldn't do my dishes because they were making a movie in the dish room. I bet him hard money that such a thing was ludicrous. If I thought a little into the future I could possibly conceive them making a movie about how to use the new dishwasher, but it didn't dawn on me and my 100 odd-ish dishes that I had to wash. So I pitter patter on down there to the second floor and lo and behold there was a camera crew and a very bright light...touché Allan, touché.
Amy, Daniel, and Meme! Take a look at the accident log sometime. Go ahead, it's worth it.

It's that glorious time of year again! Ol' Hallows Eve :D It's one of my top 3 holidays...I can't really choose a top 1 because I like to celebrate all holidays, but it's one of the best to be sure!
Anyways I managed to eek out one comic for you to celebrate the day :D Enjoy~!

Ok...you may notice this is rather pasted together...literally. But I did not have a scanner nearby that I could use so I decided to get this up by another means...

Tribute to Truckers

I did manage to draw a comic in my econ notes the other day that I thought would be fun to share. See, since the last football game was earlier in the day, the guys on the trucks crew were required to come in earlier than everyone else...like 4:30 early...since some of the truck crew was working the night before, this is what I imagined went down. :) Enjoy~!

:D yay comics! They are so fun to draw. :) I've been thinking of drawing a non-catering related comic...*gasp*...but I can't come up with a storyline. So I thought I'd just tease people with the idea some more until future notice. Don't worry, now that I've started the idea in the clockwork of my mind I'll start day dreaming about it and come up with something.

a random wait staff, Casey, Meme, and Mckell! So I've been trying to find an opportunity to study during break at work and it just doesn't work. But I thought I'd draw a hope inducing comic anyways. Casey, I don't know if you're taking American Heritage but it's a common mid-term to be having so I took my chances ;).
Meme, Tammy, and Melissa W.! :D yay for the captain card game! I hadn't done one in awhile and I wanted to...so there you have it.
Electrician man, Meme, and Nikki! So I was cleaning out the South Kitchen elevator as a Special Project and the technician guy was working on the electricity right next to my mop bucket. I asked him if he wanted me to move it...but then he moved for me so yesh...
Jessica and Meme! Ah...I had a 15 person in building banquet and it was glorious (thank you dearest Elizabeth). Anyways and I was listening to the radio. It wasn't too horrible...at all, but it just reminds me of the times when I've heard some perty intense banquets going on over the radio. Be grateful my friends, be grateful :D.

:D So I think I've come up with a name that amuses me enough for my catering character. Enjoy~!
Meme, Taizsa, and Joe S.! So I don't remember what incited me to do this, but I busted out singing 'Let me see your butter roll' and it was funny...and I did a comic about it...yes.
Slow Truck Driver, very-nice-but-also-slow Einstein's bagel lady, vehicles that are in my way, and Meme! So the other day at the dock this happened. Me being the resourceful person I was I busted out my pen and paper and occupied my time until the cars were out of my way. It was nice...the black van left first...and then the Truck at the same time the white van in front of me left. It was a day for testing my patience to say the least. But the irony was too funny afterwards not to do a comic about it.
Meme! Look guys! It's my first political cartoon! :D Do you know how happy this makes me! You have no idea, it's my dream to be a political cartoonist. :D Anyways, like I said we changed uniforms last week and the fact that our crews now wear at least 3 shades of black every time they work I thought I'd dedicate a comic to it. Now my opinion as to the uniforms; Uniforms are uniforms and I get paid to wear them. I got used to the other uniforms and I'll get used to these too...but I'll avidly be wearing aprons in the future...maybe two...

*sigh* and yes my comics are hard to understand sometimes so I'll explain my political innuendo. Barack Obama's big slogan thing is that he will bring 'change' and as we just 'changed' uniforms I was implying that change isn't always for the best :D
Bonnie and a nice old man! So we were talking about how to open our hotel carts the other day...and this did happen...but I wish I could have come up with something better for the handprint on the hotel cart thing...like a superhero pose or something like that. Alas, Bonnie's distress is awesome as well ;)

So I tried to draw the comics with the new uniforms in them and I've decided that my drawings look retarded when I do. So the old uniforms will live forever on in my drawings. After all, they never will truly leave us, they'll just be at DI :D

Me, Sara, Nancy, Taizsa, and Meagan! So the most prominent thing that happened this week is that Sara came for a visit! Although she requested a comic as a ghost, I decided for a conspiracy theory instead. I figured it was fiction enough :) Yay for Sara!
Me, Marie, Nancy, and Michael J.! The next prominent thing that happened...last week...is that we got new uniforms! Now I'll give my personally opinion on them in a later post, but for now I made a comic about the various ideas that popped into various peoples heads over what they wish to categorize us as...ah...human nature at it's best.
Mariah, Mckell, and Me! Kawaii! So Mariah does Nachos for me at football and I <3 how I drew her. Practically perfect in every way~! Anyways, this comic is dedicated to the ever present saying 'Two people to a cart' that I find myself doing less often than I should. I suppose this comic can be a self-chastising I suppose...riiiiiight.

Yay for comics! You know, I usually base my comics on what has happened during the week so that, hopefully, having it fresh in my mind helps me to draw a better comic. But this past week I didn't work to much since I was on a trip to New Mexico. But! I still wanted to do some comics. Enjoy~!

Dakota, Me, and Uncle James! So I don't particularly fancy Mexican food. Sometimes I'll really crave it but others I'll just get sick to the stomach...there's only one Mexican place that I can go to any time of the day and enjoy and it's in California...and yet I don't know the name of it...anyways on my trip to New Mexico we only ate at Mexican food places and it drove me to like Mexican food even less...sad day XD
Jeff D. and Me! So I also got to drive my mom's car while I was on my trip (...let's have a moment of silence, for my mom sold my car while I was away so I had to drive hers...Albeit she technically bought it and used it sometimes...meh...) and that's what influenced me to draw this comic!

Hey guys~ So I skipped a week last week--I guess my sentiments of the week before caught up with me--but I did manage to get in some good comics this week! Enjoy~!Daniel, me, and customers! So I've been getting a lot of compliments about the food we serve these past few weeks (if not ever since I've worked for catering) and I noted the need to set the record straight. If you want to compliment the caterers, you should probably say something like "oh! Those carrots were placed JUST right on my plate! Best placed carrots I've ever seen!" or "The way you served me my plate in was so open and inviting! You must have SUCH balance."...things like that. So I decided to try and pay a tribute to our BYU chefs. Albeit I guess we choose who we get our food from to cater to our customers...but really the chefs are the ones that cook so awesomely...
Me! Ok so Richard B. (no I am not going to attempt his last name) suggested this scene from 'Mouse Trap' because of the copious amounts of rack-ups in the third floor kitchen for football. :D I did the best I could hehe.
Anastacia, Me, and Shanlee! So I have been miffed multiple times when pastry and veg prep take our carts or complain about not having enough or not having a cart to do a rack-up on, etc. to the point that I petition for more via a comic. Yes, the cry will forever go onward "Buy more Carts!"
Me, Kirk, Scott, and Tammy! All three of us were in Kirk's office asking about rack-ups and out of the blue I was chastised for pacing! I didn't know I had such power to unnerve Kirk, but alas with great power comes great responsibility...riiiiiight. Anyways...so I made a comic about it. I also remember that Tammy gave me the original idea...but I forgot what it was...it involved Tammy having a halo and me in a time-out chair but I forget the dialogue. Sad day...
Me! So when I organized the fifth floor prop room the other month I put the little cougar figurines in gargoyle-esk places for my own amusement. As the weeks went by I steadily noticed a decline in the amount of cougar figurines with heads. So much so that the fifth floor prop room began to have a rather eerie sense to it so that 'Beauty and the Beast' music would begin to play in my head.
Scott, Captain Sid, Tammy, and me! I had a banquet akin to this one whilst this one was going on and thought said experiences deserved depiction. :D

So what would you guys think if I gave the character that is 'me' in these comics an iconic name? See, I'm in the process of changing the cartoon version of myself. I've only changed it once before and that was when I first cut my hair drastically 6 years ago. So yes, I want to keep the character I've been using for 'Go Catering' and she needs a name...

Ladies attending Education Week, Me, Marie, Mitchel, Michael, and an Old Man attending education week! Education Week also brought about the advent of Catering taking on it's mercenary duties by lending it's staff out to other places on campus (see other comics). But I've always wanted to do this comic, and now I can (with a little addition of humorous flair)!
I think his name was Trenton?, Nikki, and me! haha. This happened on Tammy's banquet...but I thought I'd show what happened on back at the WILK (she was Out of Building). :D

Week Joe!

So you know those weeks that you work with the same person, like, all the time? Well this week I had the 'privilege' (jk) of working with Joe S. and I have to say he is an excellent source of comics. Ensuite, Enjoy!

Little Girl Joe made cry, Me, and Joe S.! Forward: People don't realize the power of comics. You can say something happened a certain way...but really in the end it happens the way I want it to happen because I can embody you in cartoon form for all eternity! I should become a history writer...*sigh* ok, soo i really am not that heartless! Anyways this comic embodies whatREALLY happened. It was a beautiful sunny University Conference morning. I was a humble and lowly wait staff and Joe was my captain. I was busy fishing out drinks for 3/4's of 4500 people when Joe comes up and 'hides' an endangered (meaning it was going fast) chocolate milk because he doesn't like Orange Juice. Well, eventually we ran out and we were only handing out Orange Juice when a family comes up with a little girl. I had to tell that little girl that there was nothing to be had but OJ! Ensuite...she yells "BUT I DON'T WANT ORANGE JUICE" and starts to cry. Karen dutifully tells Joe that he made a little girl cry. Who am I to be an insubordinate to my captain! He was the one that set it aside! *innocent look* :D
Me and Joe S.! So my adventures with Joe continued this week at the Honors Banquet. :D As a side note, this banquet marks my one year mark at catering! Cool huh? Anyways, he and I were trafficking dishes to and from the Morris Center because of the changing of dishwashers in the WILK when there was one flat cart that was trying to pull a 'Free Willy' and escape off the Dock at the Morris Center. We've all witnessed such carts and we all know how horrible it would be if it fell! We both realized it at the same time and stopped it a few feet from the end of the dock and that is what inspired this comic. :D
Me, Nancy W., Rebecca, Joe S., and James W.! This happened at football (whoot!) and of course it was all in jest. But it was worthy of being embodied in comic form. Yes that is James at the dock ;) and if he does actually get a bean bag I might just have to accidentally spill maple syrup all over it XD.

p.s. I suppose these are considered 'extras' cause I didn't put them up in the third floor kitchen. It's not that I'm trying to get more people to come to this website *shifty eyes* it's that if you look at the board I put these up on...it's awfully crowded. I feel kinda bad consuming a board that belongs to everyone ;_; so yeah...

I believe this week requires a bit of explanation. There went on a thing called Education Week...this week. People come and take classes-religiously related I believe-and Catering does an awful lot of stuff for them. But this year we went above and beyond. We helped out two other food services on campus because they were short workers. The CougarEat and the Cannon Center...boy howdy. Perhaps the feelings that follow are unique to myself only, but I have embodied two out of the thousands of things I experienced this past week in my beloved comics, and I hope you Enjoy~!

Allan's wife and me! This comic is dedicated to the wonderful woman who I know as Allan's wife...I really should have learned her name. Not only did she make every mind-numbing day at the cougareat better by her wonderful-ness, she also gave me a $4 coupon for Subway. I <3 $4 coupons. XD Also, she was the hardest worker there. She comes even with some of the horror stories I have heard from others at catering when it comes to working long hours. She has my undying respect.
Karen and me! Oh man. This was my main gripe about not working for catering. I wasn't given free food. So this is what I imagined went through their heads. Secretly the Cannon Center is an evil diabolical organization bent on getting in between me and my food (see my thought bubble ;) yes...yes they are >:(
Marie, Michael J., and me! So it was an early morning banquet and we were unloading the truck. Now, in the mornings my mind tends to process thoughts more like movies and less like thought processes. So as I was carrying water to the lift I saw in my head that Marie would catch the package of water I was about to throw at her...but she didn't. Ensuite, I was made fun of the rest of the morning and this comic came to be ;)
Mitch, Joe S., Holly, and me! I should find out when the dishwasher was put in...then I can do a eulogy for it...because it deserves one that's why! We'll see if I like the new dishwasher or not...

Me and Marie's Mom! So this past summer semester I was bragging like the...braggart...I am about taking a drawing class to my wonderful co-workers when one begins to ask more questions like "what class are you in?" and "who's your teacher?" My curiosity is-of course-peaked and I ask why she is asking so many questions...turns out her mother is in my class! It was weird at first...but then I got to start hearing funny stories about said co-worker and I got to like her mom too ;) and her mom's drawings :D and her mom's cooking XD
Me, random waitstaff, and Tina! *sigh* This happened on the H-E-double hockey sticks banquet and, once again, when I looked back it was actually quite amusing. :D
Me and Tammy! Pssh, after this week at work I might be willing to pay for this myself! All joking aside...someone could seriously make money by offering cots on campus for naps...who wants to sleep on grass and get sunburned?

Me, Nikki, Anastasia, and Daniel! So I was informed that on multiple occasions this occurs on banquets. I have yet to be on one (sad day I know) but I made a comic all the same, and it's worth a good chuckle.
Troll, Lucifer, RT, and me! :D ah, I love this comic. It came from a conversation I had with RT about a banquet I had

RT: Oh, so how was your banquet?
Me: *pause* Hell...
RT: OH...so did you get to see Satan? That would be an interesting banquet. "Hey...excuse me...Prince of Darkness? Yeah...can I pre-set the desserts?"

and it made me very happy. Which is what I didn't want at the time because I wanted to be angry and fuss like a 5 year old. But now I laugh about it ^.^
Me (x2) and David L.! I've been using the word aneurysm a lot at work lately...so I thought I'd dedicate a comic to it...and besides WHO SPELL SECURITY WRONG!!! Let alone engrave it in metal? What the heck?

It was a late night at the WILK and Staci was closing when she told me to get her something for a rack-up...and she pointed at it with her spoon/pen and a nice swishing motion. So nice in fact that we laughed at it for about 5 minutes and then continued on our merry way. It was worth dedicating a comic to. That and it is too much fun drawing people as flying monkeys.

Foreword: YAY! I am now up-to-date with comics and what week they are irl :D aren't you proud of me! I'm just going to say that after this week I will be attaching a little (c) to all of my drawings :( I don't want them mis-used per-say. But don't think that I still haven't copyrighted the rest of my works :( they are still mine~Anyways...that's that.
Hugging EFY kid, David L., and me! :) Ah, I have to say it would be rather impossible to draw this event in all of it's ridiculous glory, so I didn't try. But I think this comic portrays the EFY kid rather well.

The 3rd floor kitchen scheduling board, fun board, and employee board! So I tried a new format of putting up my comics this summer, 8 up every two weeks instead of 2-3ish every week...which I don't like now that I look back...but I put myself in the quote boards shoes for once (quite the imagination I know) and this is what came out ;)
Anastasia, Joe S., Jessie, and me! Hah Hah Hah, so there was an article in the Daily Universe in the Opinion section incredulously reported that the Creamery ice cream has alcohol in it. Of course it's because of cooking and the vanilla and such...but hey, you can't be too careful!
Alicia and me! Ahhhhhh, the bump was a 12th of an inch tall and yet it toppled a 7 foot tall tower of glass and plastic. It was quite the experience I'd rather not repeat :p
